Warning some spoilage!

The Nursery movie is a with horror and suspense, about a girl who babysits for a family that had a bad accident with their daughter years ago. The plot starts out in downtown Madison, Wisconsin where Ranae (Madeline Conway) is waiting for her friend so she can get a ride to the house she is going to babysit at. Once she gets to the couple’s house, the fun starts to begin, and she starts seeing images, and different apparitions that appear to her, and she starts to lose her mind.

The Nursery is very well written. There is actually a main plot, and a side plot to the overall picture. You find out why Ranae is emotionally not all right in the head. Ranae’s friends end up coming over to the house where she is babysitting, which is out in the middle of nowhere.  Her friends are there to try to keep her company because she is starting to see weird images her in head and cannot find out where they are coming from.

After a while you find out why the apparitions start to happen, and people in the house, who are Ranae’s friends, start dying. Ranae’s friends Grace (Carly Saur), Calista (Emmaline Friederichs),  and Jeremy (Claudio Parrone, Jr.), start to see the same things that Ranae start to see. They find out that there is a woman or a girl (you find out in the movie later why either or) that is haunting them.

Ranae’s brother Ray (Marco Lama) helps her find out why they were happening and what she could do to try to stop them. He is the brains of the family and is good with computer research, and finds out what happened to the family’s daughter who had been murdered in the house.

The music is composed quite nicely and corresponds with the acting very good and on point.  The score  is composed by Audrey Martinovich, and is brilliant and flows well. There is room for more of this movie and I hope it expands. I’m still wanting to know what happens to the main character after the movie ends. I hope to see more from the director(s) Christopher A. Micklos and Jay Sapiro, in the same vein.
