What happens when a night of fun turns into a night of horror?  Seven friends and a mysterious backpacker converge at a desolate ski lodge in the mountains, and as the clock begins the countdown to the New Year, they discover that the end of the old year may be the end of all their years, as they are systematically hunted down by ruthless masked men with a deadly agenda.

This movie is a budget movie. The acting is alright, the plot is pretty good and the story is well written (written by Victoria Dadi and Christopher M. Don). The movie starts out with a couple Charlie Crenna (Kaiwi Lyman) and Emily (Viva Bianca), who go on a picnic where several kids got murdered and Charlie proposes to her. They end up disappearing from the spot, and Travis Crenna, Charlie’s brother, ends up looking for them.

Several friends get together and want to drink and party because it is New Years Eve. They tried to have it at the place where they work at, but then are afraid they are going to get caught, so they trek up to a known ski lodge.  The story goes that there was a bunch of murders that happened in the lodge a couple of years before they showed up, they find this out from Travis, and they don’t seem to care. There was an accident that happened, and Mr. Walter (William Baldwin) who had a wife die from a tragic mishap, then their kids apparently got harassed and picked on, and they want to take revenge on other people around the neighborhood for hurting them.

The first person in the group that ends up dying is Heather (Macey Cruthird), the group does not notice it at first, and then other people continue to die throughout the movie. The music is pretty good (composed by Ryan Owen Detlefsen), and fits the movie pretty well.  If you can get through the first half hour of the movie it becomes decent, and puts you on the edge of the seat wondering what is going to happen to this group of people.  The makeup and special effects are pretty good as well as realistic-looking, along with the costume designs.  This is a straight to VOD/DVD movie.
