Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them – this movie is a prequel to the Harry Potter-verse. There is already a sequels in the works. This film stars Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Samantha Morton and many more. The meta score on imdb.com is currently 66, and the reviews are a 7.4 out of 10. This movie is really good overall.
This movie has you interested from the beginning to the end. There can be a couple of dragged out scenes, but once you get past it, the movie is excellent, and has a class A cast. You will see resemblances to Harry Potter in this movie, and the movie takes place in the United States, New York to be exact. The movie’s plot is built around creatures that are magical.
The graphics, and CGI are amazing. Bowtruckle is my favorite beast. The reason for this is because everyone seems to be after him and he has powers that we do not really know of yet. I would like to see this character develop more into its full potential.
The beast zone graphics are pretty awesome. With many different species it’s like a zoo for magical beasts. I can not wait to see the way this plays out since they opened up with a portal of ideas. There is magic of course in this movie or it would not be a part of the Harry Potter world.
There are quite a few nods to Harry Potter The action is awesome, and it builds up to what the movie is actually all about. The beasts were beautifully designed, and it fits to the story line. I do not want to give away the plot, because the whole thing makes up the plot. The movie gross was 234k. I suggest you watch this movie in it’s entire. It is not suitable for kids, nor was it written for kids to keep in mind.
