Reviewed by Jay Andrews Tracy ‘Mama, just killed a man/Put a gun against his head Pulled my trigger, now he’s dead/Mama, life had just begun But now I’ve gone and thrown it all away/Mama, oh oh, Didn’t mean to make you cry If I’m not back again this time tomorrow/Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters’. This is one of the most famous songs from Queen. This song is so famous, that it was the title of the movie about the band. Bohemian Rhapsody is a movie about how Queen got started, and the life of Freddie Mercury.

The movie shows how the songs we love today were created that we all love by the band. Rami Malek plays Freddie Mercury almost perfect. The movie does not go into full detail of what his life was really like. The movie does, however, show the trials he went when he found out the diagnosis of obtaining the AIDS disease and what he had to go through as a musician while having it.

We Will, We Will Rock you! This is one of the first songs that had audience interaction. With trying to capture the ears of small crowds to very large crowds, this song does just that. Those are just some of the highlights of the movie, without giving away the movie in general.

If you are a Queen fan, I suggest you watch this movie, it is not 5 out of 5, but it does capture the world of Queen. With what Freddie went through as a kid, and what he went through as an adult, it seems like the one thing that he did accomplish was the love for music.

This is a great movie, all around terrific. I think that with the amount of time that it had to tell the story of Queen, and Freddie Mercury, it had done so with passion. I think that people should give this movie a chance, especially if they do like the band Queen. I give it 4 out of 5 on my ratings scale. There are some parts that will make you cry, however.  This movie’s budget was $52,000,000 and it grossed $216,024,805.
